Before proceeding, be sure you have installed the PowerSchool Security Certificate. Instructions for the installation of the certificate can be found by clicking HERE.
The login page allows an authorized user to access the web pages containing student information.
The "Grades and Attendance" page is the default page that you will see upon entering your username and password. The "Grades and Attendance" is the system home page and contains various icons to help you navigate throughout the PowerSchool system. To return to this page at any time, simply click on the word PowerSchool or click on the Grades and Attendance icon.
Grades and Attendance
From the "Grades and Attendance" screen you can view the student's schedule, grades, and attendance information. You can also send an email to a teacher.
Grades - Clicking on the letter grade will bring up the "Class Score Detail" page for the class selected. This page displays due dates and the score received for each of the assignments.
Send email to a teacher - If you are using an email client application (i.e. Outlook, Entourage) clicking on one of the teacher names will automatically launch your email application and allow you to send an email directly to that teacher.If you are using webmail, right-clicking the teacher's name and selecting properties will reveal the teacher's email address.
Attendance - Clicking on the blue number under the Attendance column will bring up the attendance detail for the class selected.
**Note: Attendance totals = total number of class periods absent
Clicking on any grade in the "Grade and Attendance" window, will open the "Class Score Detail" window which shows detailed assignment and grading information.
Clicking on the "Grades History" icon will display all grades for the current year.
Clicking on the "Email Notification" icon displays configuration options for email-based reporting.
Clicking on the "Teacher Comments" icon displays any comments entered by the student's teachers.
The "School Bulletin", "Class Registration" and "My Calendars" icons are not being used at this time.
