Classroom Management Plan

Dear Parents,

          My classroom management will follow the school-wide behavior plan. 
 

Green

Great Job

Blue

Yellow

All students begin each day on green and move down the chart with each infraction. When students move to yellow, and/or orange, I will meet with them and discuss the infraction and complete a "Think Sheet".  On yellow, students will also miss half of their recess.  On orange, students will miss all of their recess as well as receive a Level I discipline referral.  If a student reaches red, he/she will meet with the asst. principal or principal.   
 
         Students who remain on green or blue for the whole week, will earn the weekly reward. Students who remain on green or blue for 15/20 days (will vary depending on the number of school days in the month) and are not on any other color that month, will earn the monthly reward.  The monthly reward may be a grade level activity,  extra recess, board game time, etc.   Students who earn the monthly reward will also have their picture taken to be displayed on the school-wide winners board in the office hallway.
