Harrisburg - Our State Capital
On Friday, we took our field trip to our state capital.  We visited the State Museum where we had a scavenger hunt.  We also visited the Gift Shop there.  We visited the Capitol right next door and some of us even got to see the Governor's Office.  Check out these pictures:

Gov. Rendell was in Pittsburgh, so we didn't get to see him, but his office is awesome!!  We had lots of fun, learned a lot, and were VERY tired when we came home!  Here are a few more pics from the day.

We were excited to dress up for our 80's work-out day and the first day of our PSSA Camp!  We started out the day in the gym building our campfire!  (April Fool's!!)  We had fun going first to Mr. Royer's room for math and then to Mrs. DP's room for reading strategies!  Check out our outfits!

Our latest learning adventure - Henry Ford's assembly line!  We made Goodburgers - quality was important!

They were delicious and we learned that the assembly line is not as easy as it looks.   It takes careful planning to make something on an assembly line.
Stay tuned for our next activity..............................
