Consequences for Breaking the Rules:
Everyone starts the day "on the green"
1st Offense: Change your card to yellow and receive a verbal warning.
2nd Offense: Change your card to blue and lose 5 minutes of recess and complete a behavior form.
3rd Offense: Change your card to red, lose full recess, and I will contach your parent/s with a note or a phone call.
If inappropriate behavior continues: I will complete a Discipline Form and call home to parent/s. The student may be removed from the room to visit with the principal. A parent conference may be requested. For severe inappropriate behavior, the above may be skipped and the student will go straight to the principal's office.
Rewards for Staying on the Green:
If you stay on the green all week, you will earn a good behavior sticker (see how many you can collect!).
If you go off the green only 2 times in a month, you will earn a Free Homework Pass and participate in a 15 minute special activity. This may include: extra recess, free-choice time, a video, or choosing a prize from a "prize box".
