Gifted and Talented enrichment opportunities are offered to students identified as gifted as well as students identified by classroom teachers who demonstrate a significant need for enrichment beyond the scope of the regular classroom experience. Students work both collaboratively and independently to research topics of interest and create presentations with their findings, engage in Socratic dialogs and literature circles and participate in activities requiring higher-order thinking skills.

Students are also offered on and off campus seminars and competitions including, but not limited to, Future City, Math 24, Mathcounts, and Canstruction. Collaborative and enrichment support is provided both in the regular classroom and within the gifted support room.
