Handicapped Students (504 Plans)

Students who have disabilities that are chronic in nature and substantially impact their performance/learning, are placed on Section 504 Accommodation plans, as per PDE’s Chapter 15 requirements.   DSD presently has 45 students on such plans.  These student supports are entirely provided in the general education environment and funded with the general budget.  All staff assigned to a student with a 504 plan are responsible for the implementation of that plan.
