How have the snow days affected our calendar?
Let's review the impact according to the calendar:
snow day 1 - December 10/Make-up day = February 17
snow day 2 - January 3/Make-up day = April 17
(new student day)
snow day 3 - January 7/Make-up day = April 21
snow day 4 - January 21/Make-up day = June 12
snow day 5 - January 22/Make-up day = June 13
snow day 6 - February 3/Make-up day = June 16
snow day 7 - February 5/Make-up day = June 17*
snow day 8 - February 13/Make-up day = June 18*
snow day 9 - February 14/Make-up day = June 19*
*We asked the State to change these three days
from student days to professional development days
If the request is approved:
**Students K-11 -- The final student day
(early dismissal) will be June 16.
**Graduating seniors -- A Saturday graduation
practice will be held on June 7 (The State allows
us to count this Saturday practice as an instructional
day.). The final student day will be June 13 and
graduation will take place that evening.
Please note that these final student days remain tentative and cannot be finalized at this time.
Thank you for your understanding,
Sue Ursprung, Ed.D.
